Last December we hoped 2021 would be the year Covid-19 stopped spreading. But in fact, the virus had gained momentum with the Delta variant and had led to extended state-wide and national-wide lockdowns. Sydney’s three and a half months lockdown from July to Mid October was a huge challenge for us and many businesses. Gratefully, we and some others have bounced back strongly when we reopened. This demonstrated how confident businesses and consumers are on economic prospects. Now as of December 2021, there is a new variant with a name sounded like a scary enemy from The Transformers movie. Optimus Prime, please stop Omicron from further transforming. But with or without the Autobots, we are confident that human will be able to deal with whatever new variants may appear.
